The Seventh College Synthesis Program takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding and addressing the challenges posed by our changing planet. The three-course sequence includes two courses of intensive instruction in university-level writing (SYN 1/1R and 2/2R) and one project-based course (SYN 100). Synthesis offers a SYN 1 and 2 summary course (SYN 150) designed for students transferring to Seventh College. Synthesis offers an independent study (SYN 199) for students to continue projects they begin in previous synthesis courses.
